A local authority review is an examination of a person’s needs and services in their outcomes-focused care and support plan, undertaken at regular intervals at or by a predetermined date. It involves checking whether the person’s needs have changed together with evaluating the extent to which the care and support plan is meeting the stated objectives, whether the desired outcomes have been achieved and whether the plan needs to be adapted to respond to changes in needs or circumstances or services.
